As a supporter of the ideas of Copyleft and particularly Creative Commons, I quite happy to see additional members of the “mainstream” accepting and using a Creative Commons (CC) license. This time it is Nine Inch Nails. Their latest album, Ghosts I-IV (a “36 track instrumental collection”), has been released under a CC license—Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike license.

This means we can use this in (non commercial) podcasts, videos, and other media projects. My students should love this, as should my podcasting friends.

Reznor is far ahead of his time.

That he is! The album is pretty cool too.

Something to say?
